The Blue-eyed Doll
Scene 9

The Next Day

The police officer came to the school just as the principal said he would.

Police Officer: "Have you destroyed the doll?"

Mr. Kato: " Yes, it was destroyed according to the order."

Mr. Kato showed him the empty box that had contained the doll. The police officer looked at the box silently for a long time, and he gave Mr. Kato a suspicious look.

Police Officer: "Let me check inside the school just to make sure."

The police officer began to search inside the school. He thought it was strange to have only an empty box, and he suspected the doll might still be there.
